Walt Walker, PE, ENV SP, is Vice President and Equity Practice Leader at T.Y.Lin. He has two decades of experience in program management and implementation of water infrastructure and climate/resiliency projects. As T.Y.Lin’s Equity Practice Leader, Walt collaborates with utilities and local partners to advance equitable water management and climate action with an approach that centers community growth and social impact. His notable equity and/or climate work includes Buffalo Sewer’s Queen City Clean Waters program, UCSB Clean Energy Master Plan, Monroe County Climate Adaptation and Resilience Plan, and King County’s Brightwater Facilities Program. Walt is a member of the US Water Alliance’s Water Equity Network and serves as an advisor on their Water Workforce Taskforce. He is also a committee member on the Water Environment Federation’s (WEF) Diversity, Equity, & Inclusion Board of Trustees.
