With a background in agroecology and environmental justice, Thea started her career in water-related justice and policy at an NGO in Washington, DC called Clean Water Action. Motivated by the fundamental belief that comprehensive sustainability strategies that democratize critical natural resources like water, come from partnership between the public, private, and nonprofit sectors, Thea aims to bridge the gap between corporate strategy and meaningful positive environmental outcomes. Thea holds a Master of Science from the School for Environment and Sustainability at the University of Michigan and a Bachelor's degree in Environmental Studes from Wellesley College. A native of Charlottesville, VA, Thea enjoys gardening, baking, and writing in her free time.
