Sarah is a Civil Engineer and Water Policy Researcher who specializes in water resources management. She works to improve the water quality of the Charles River by helping towns comply with their (MS4) permit requirements, promoting stormwater runoff reduction through green infrastructures across the watershed, and advocating for the elimination of combined sewer overflows. With expertise in hydrological modeling, GIS mapping, and emergency response planning, she's worked across Africa, Europe, and the U.S. Sarah won the MIT Water Hackathon in 2022 and is dedicated to climate change adaptation, stormwater management, and developing solutions. She believes challenges pave the way for growth and innovation.
