Pat is an activist and a lifelong student of the environment, with a particular passion for water. Her journey began in 2015 when she started attending Willingboro Municipal Utilities Authority (MUA) Board of Commissioners meetings, captivated by the complexity and impact of the work. Appointed to the Board by Willingboro Township Council in 2020 and elected by her peers in 2023, 2024, and 2025, Pat has been a steadfast advocate for water quality, funding equity, and transparency, especially around PFAS and other emerging contaminants. In 2024, Pat co-authored the nation’s first Department of Labor–approved Pre-Apprenticeship program for high school students focused on water industry careers. She also co-founded the Black Water Professionals Alliance in 2023, a national initiative dedicated to building a thriving community of Black water professionals committed to outreach, collaboration, and advocacy. Pat serves actively on committees within the Association of Environmental Authorities and Jersey Water Works, where she is a member of the Steering Committee. Her work bridges technical expertise, policy advocacy, and youth empowerment—driving innovation and inclusion across the water sector.
