Dira is an expert in water governance, climate resilience and adaptive management. As the Senior Climate Resilience Associate, Dira primarily works with the Charles River Climate Compact (CRCC), a partnership of twenty-eight watershed communities that takes a watershed approach to climate change impacts to design and implement regional climate adaptation projects, to advocate for and implement nature-based solutions. Dira has a B.S. and an M.Sc in Environmental Science from the University of Massachusetts Boston, with a background in aquatic toxicology research. Originally from Malaysia, Dira is always in search of food that tastes like home. She also enjoys painting and yoga and plans to publish a children’s book in the future.
