I am Assistant Professor of Landscape Architecture and Environmental Planning at the University of California Berkeley. I am also the Director of the Just Environments Lab, a research group which centers justice in conversations of environmental risk and hazard. My work examines issues of environmental justice and climate justice, particularly in Puerto Rican and Mexican American communities. I hold a Ph.D. in Urban Planning from the University of Michigan, a Master of Architecture from the University of Pennsylvania, and a Bachelor of Architecture from The Pennsylvania State University. Talk to me about: flooding and hurricanes and stormwater management.
