I’m a water security, sustainability, and stewardship expert with over 15 years of progressive international experience, whose work intersects with our global food, energy, and health systems. I’ve advised a sitting U.S. ambassador on foreign water-energy policy, worked within HCA Healthcare on corporate sustainability, and have served in numerous consulting roles globally and across sectors. Experience in sustainability strategy, infrastructure planning, building adaptive communities, and water, sanitation, and hygiene (WASH) rounds out my portfolio. I currently serve as co-lead of the Science Based Targets Network's (SBTN) Freshwater Hub. I have a PhD in Civil Engineering from University of Virginia, a Master of Public Affairs degree in Water Governance and Policy from the O’Neill School of Public and Environmental Affairs, Indiana University Bloomington, and a Bachelor of Science in Civil Engineering from Clemson University. I’ve also completed a graduate exchange at TU Delft’s Technology and Policy Management Faculty in Engineering and Policy Analysis and earned a Certificate in Social Entrepreneurship with Kelley School of Business, Indiana University Bloomington. My career intentions are to help build more adaptable communities that live in harmony with a healthy environment in the context of human dignity.
